In the wake of COVID-19 pandemic, operations have resumed in slow mode.
Inception in 2004,
We started working for the above Mission, at a humble level at Bahadurabad, Karachi, Pakistan as Sheikh Aziz-ur-Rehman Memorial Eye Clinic in 2004. This initiative was organised as Danishsra Welfare Association registered under The Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration And Control Ordinance 1961) of Pakistan.
In 2009 we re-structured our legal framework and transformed into Vision Trust registered under The Trusts Act (II OF 1882) of Pakistan.
For want of expansion o
f our service base and workload capacity, in 2016, we moved our clinic to a bigger and better premises, near Islamia College, Karachi Pakistan, courtesy K&N’s Foundation, which is registered under section 42 of The Companies Act, 2017 of Pakistan. The eyecare facility here morphed into Khairun-nisa Eye Hospital, located at the premises provided by the Foundation at 49/4 Dr. Tharani Road, Gujrat Colony, Jamshed Town, Karachi-74800, Pakistan.
Over all these years, thousands of underprivileged have benefited with high quality eye care and surgeries. Moreover this has provided us a firm foothold in society and a step for us to move on. It also reflects in a way our unwavering resolve, perseverance, and the success of our working and financial model.
